  The staff of the Church are all very supportive of scum like me. The last head pastor and his family took me into their home and helped me get established in town, helping me get enrolled in the city college, move etc. Any active member of the congregation in need is helped spiritually or even financially, the youth pastor does not want to see holy socks.
  
  The weekly sermons are nothing to scoff at either with creative uses of candles and overhead powerpoints. Themes of everyday application of faith are explored on a regular basis.
