  • MUSIC AT NOON concert series is simply WONDERFUL. What a delight to listen to fantastic, professional, exquisite music from all over the world, FREE concert, free parking (downtown!), during your lunch break (they even let you bring in a sack lunch). You sit there, admiring in the beautiful stained glass windows, the peaceful ambience and enjoy stunning performances. It is the highlight of my week! It is a labor of love for the church staff who manage and organize this series to make the church more relevant. Man(kind) cannot live on bread alone.

    Disturbing lack of boundaries!

Interviewed for a job here. One of the interviewers felt the need to discuss his sexuality during both first and second interviews. I really didn't need to hear about that during a job interview. Same interviewer also ridiculed and mocked me and my interests, calling me a nerd. Since when is name calling appropriate or acceptable in a job interview? First interview was held in a well-lit conf room on the first floor, near the admin offices with lots of people nearby. Second interview for some reason wasn't in the conf room, which was the logical place for a panel interview. Instead, they took me (female) up to the second floor which was dark, all the lights were off, and it was completed deserted - not a soul in sight. Took me to a tiny room in a far corner, far from anyone else. Took me to the tiny room where there were 4 men, no other women, and closed the door. Completely inappropriate! That would have never happened in a corporate job interview. Was very uncomfortable. Can't believe it never occurred to them how inappropriate it was. After dragging me through 2 job interviews they never bothered to follow up to let me know I wasn't getting the job. Totally unprofessional. Good thing I didn't want the job. I probably would have been very uncomfortable working around people with such an obvious lack of boundaries and no awareness of how to behave appropriately.
